Your compatibility checklist
- An Etsy seller account. You must be able to authorize access to the shop you intend to manage.
- A compatible ChatGPT account. You need access to plugin installation, Sites, and the connected app/tool workflow used by the kit. Check the features actually available in your account; a plan name alone is not a guarantee.
- Etsy developer-app access. Setup includes registering your own Etsy app and its callback address. Etsy controls app access and any required approval.
- A private connection Site. The source is included. You will need to create and publish your own private setup through supported hosting tools and complete any required owner approvals.
- Your product information. Accurate materials, dimensions, pricing, quantities, photos, and any applicable listing settings remain yours to provide and verify.
What the download contains
The kit brings together a listing-assistant plugin, private connection-site source, and setup resources. It is a downloadable toolkit, not a ChatGPT subscription, an Etsy account, or a pre-authorized connection to your shop.
What the connected workflow supports
The documented workflow includes reading listings, preparing listing copy in conversation, saving approved details as an unpublished draft, and previewing edits to existing listings. Live changes and publishing require approval.
The demo uses sample data to explain these steps. It does not connect to your Etsy account or prove compatibility with your particular ChatGPT account.
Important feature limits
Draft creation covers physical products. The live-edit tool supports title, description, price, and quantity; it does not update tags or upload photos. Complex variation inventory may require changes in Etsy. This kit does not promise bulk edits, order management, or unattended publishing.
For worked examples, see creating an Etsy draft and previewing and approving an update.
Separate services and costs
Your ChatGPT access, hosting availability, and Etsy fees are separate from the kit purchase. Etsy and OpenAI determine their own product availability, policies, and pricing.
Check the current requirements
Feature availability can change. Refer to ChatGPT Sites documentation and Etsy’s authentication documentation when setting up your connection.
